Railway stations in Athens

There are two railway stations in Athens: LARISSIS rail station and PELOPONNISSOU rail station. From LARISSIS rail station one can take the trains to North Greece. From PELOPONNISSOU rail station one can take the trains to South Greece and the OSE buses abroad (OSE is for Hellenic Railways Organisation).

How to get there

LARISSIS rail station and PELOPONNISSOU rail station are next to one another. From the Athens International Airport "Eleftherios Venizelos", take the METRO Line 3 "Athens International Airport - Monastiraki" and change at Syntagma station to METRO Line 2 "Agios Antonios - Agios Dimitrios, Alexandros Panagoulis". From downtown Athens, take the trolley bus No.1 or the bus No. 057 from El. Venizelou (Panepistimiou) str., as well as the "METRO" Line 2 "Agios Antonios - Agios Dimitrios, Alexandros Panagoulis".
